![]() ![]() ![]() The file with the number 182 is the save I made right after forcing the armies into the town. ![]() If you don't force the armies back into the town, and just attack the settlement, the game crashes right when you select the fate of the captured settlement. The roman army doing the siege can attack the Getai army next to it to destroy it/force them into the town, and there is another roman army nearby poised to push the family member back into the town. One is just an army led by a captain, and the other is led by a family member. The file with the number 181 is where the Getai's final town is under siege, but they have 2 armies out in the field, which you'll be able to see. But I've got some save games attached, the game is 2.3 and unmodified. Sorry about that, I assumed there was a way to query the armies a faction has. Is there a way to fix this error or do I have to reinstall the game and mod and start a new game and hope it doesn't happen again 500 turns in?įixed by destroying all Getai armies in the field by forcing them to retreat into their final settlement, and then taking their final settlement while they have no armies outside of the settlement If having any more information helps, please tell me. ![]() I have a log attached of my most recent CTD this evening. I thought that maybe waiting a couple of turns would help, and unfortunately, it didn't. Initially, I assaulted the town in the winter of 143BC and, upon winning the battle, I first got the CTD. I am currently on turn 522, 142BC in the summer season. Since that one time however, I have gone back to consistently getting the pure virtual function error every time, precisely upon hitting one of the occupy, sack or enslave options. Unfortunately, I went off to read a book while I waited for the horde script to do its thing, and when I came back, my computer had gone in to screensaver mode, which had caused the game to crash, I believe due to the loss of focus, equivalent to alt-tabbing out of the game, but I'm not sure. The one time it didn't do this, the game "stalled" while I believe it turned the remaining Getai armies in the field into Horde's, which I believe is normal, as the same momentary freeze occured when I defeated Sweboz. I win the siege battle, and everything works fine, until the notification comes up that let's me chose whether to occupy, sack or enslave the town, and immediately on the selecting any of those options, the game crashes. I have reduced them to the town of Zermizegeta, Daouia province. The error occurs when I finally take Getai's final province. I have downloaded and installed the different libraries that are posted in the installation instructions for the mod on the main forum, and they seemed to work once and haven't since then. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix the "C++ runtime library R6025 -pure virtual function call" error happening part way through the game. ![]()
